Albatross Arts has been named as a Trinity Champion Centre 2023/24 for our successful delivery of Arts Award.
Trinity College London is a leading international exam board and independent education charity that specialises in the assessment of communicative and performance skills covering music, drama, combined arts and English language. Champion Centres are recognised by Trinity for their successful delivery of their qualifications. Ways in which this success could be demonstrated include: impact on learners and innovation in the performing arts.
As an ambitious not-for profit Community Interest Company, Albatross exists to make a difference. Born out of lived experience of working across the creative industries & third sector, we were founded in 2020 to address the growing need for quality arts & wellbeing projects to address societal challenges.
Creative Director of Albatross Arts, Alex McEwan, says: “We’re delighted to be awarded Champion Centre status in recognition of our arts award projects which aim to empower our partner organisations and young people to explore all the benefits of positive creative pathways”
