Our Story
Albatross Arts
Most of us have an albatross holding us back from being the best version of ourselves. We have a genuine interest in people and inspiring them to feel more empowered, resilient and positive about their life situation.
As an ambitious Social Enterprise, we exist to make a difference. Born out of lived experience of working across the creative industries & third sector, we were founded in 2020 to address the growing need for quality arts & wellbeing projects to address societal challenges.
We specialise in supporting businesses and communities to nurture cultures of connectedness and foster collective wellbeing. We facilitate shared experiences so individuals, teams and communities can succeed.
The best part: By purchasing our services to create positive change within your organisation, you’ll also help drive meaningful social impact in the wider community.
Our “pay it forward” goal is to provide free ‘Creative Boost’ toolkits to every dementia care setting in Scotland by 2030. The toolkits have been designed to support activity coordinators and carers. Each kit includes 12 accessible visual art and craft activities, complete with video instructions and a shopping list for easily sourced materials.

what we offer
We offer workshops, events and ongoing creative programming which connect people through reflective and playful shared experiences. We work collaboratively to provide innovative and inclusive approaches to engagement. We offer a safe space for self-expression and conversations. Enabling individuals to be more self aware and empowered. We can support individuals and organisations to confront social and environmental challenges, explore values, celebrate success and communicate their stories.
We do not shy away from tackling the big issues!
who we work with
Our work has no boundaries in terms of age, ability or background. We work with a range of Corporates as well as Third, Fourth and Public sector organisations & private clients.
We create a customised fit for your organisational needs, supporting the workforce to become more connected and resilient. Investing in the wellbeing of employees is essential to the success of organisations. More than ever, workforces are disjointed and there is a need to recreate the spontaneity of office life and the ability to connect with colleagues on a more human level.
From an inter-departmental creative collaborative project to turning your board room into a printroom for an employee family event - we love a corporate challenge!
We work with organisations large and small, UK wide through community outreach projects and as in-house service providers. Through our specialist knowledge and shared ideology, we work with you and your client group to understand the challenges you wish to address and the social impact you wish to make. We create accessible, engaging, multidisciplinary programmes that get results.
